This is the first I have heard of this woman.  She has been missing since the morning of Tuesday January 25th.  NORTH VANCOUVER – A 45-year-old North Vancouver woman disappeared from a care home four days ago and police say they are anxious to hear any news about her whereabouts.

“Haela Gielvert wandered away from a facility located in the 1000-block of Cloverly Road 4 days ago, on the morning of January 25th. She was reported missing on January 26th, and local searches have thus far proven unsuccessful in locating her. Investigators would like to find her and return her safely home,” police said.

“Ms. Gielvert is described as a white female, 30 yrs. old, 5’4″ tall, weighing 146 lbs. and having shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a purple and grey sweater, and an orange & red toque,” said Cpl. Peter DeVries.

“Although Ms. Gielvert is very independent, police are concerned for her wellbeing. She has wandered off before, and may place herself in danger. Anyone spotting her is asked to call police immediately.”
