A body of a young male approximately 30 years old was found in Mosquito Creek, North Vancouver BC, the morning of April 26 2011 by a contracting company that was cleaning out the culverts. Police and ambulance were called and the body was removed from the water at around 11:30 AM. Police have suggested that the body had not been in the water long as there is a busy trail that runs past that area of the shallow creek.
There will be an autopsy done on the body to determine the cause of death and police will check out any recent missing person cases.
