Kim Rossmo has been testifying at the inquiry of the Picton Murders. The detective had suggested there was a serial killer stalking the women of Vancouver almost four years before anyone would listen to him. Hopefully the powers that be will be listening now that Kim suggests we need a Provincial Missing Persons Data Base to track disappearances and trends. There are way too many missing people in BC and it seems like there are more going missing all the time. But until you actually experience someone you care about missing you have no idea the lack of resources for searching for a missing person. The Former Detective stated “the risks are so great to society that more money should be spent investigating disappearances even if many are false alarms” I love this guy! Finally somebody is suggesting we start to track the many missing people of BC and hopefully there will be a missing persons data base created.
